We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess skills in various landscaping tasks. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of duties, including lawn care, tree care, and groundskeeping. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with other team members to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass.
Assist with hardscape installations including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
Carry out tree care tasks including trimming, pruning, and planting.
Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes.
Maintain gardens by planting flowers, shrubs, and other vegetation as needed.
Operate hand tools and equipment safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
Clear debris from job sites to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
Requirements
Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of groundskeeping practices and techniques is a plus.
Familiarity with hardscape installation methods is advantageous.
Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Must be able to operate hand tools safely and effectively.
A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
Willingness to learn new skills related to landscape maintenance and design.
