Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive
Lab Incharge
to oversee operations in ourCivil Testing Laboratory
. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of construction material testing, effective team management skills, and a commitment to quality and safety. This role involves managing daily laboratory activities, supervising test procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the civil materials testing lab. Supervise testing of construction materials such as
concrete, cement, soil, aggregates, bitumen
, etc. Ensure all tests are conducted in accordance with relevant standards (IS, ASTM, BS, or ISO). Review and approve test reports and maintain accurate documentation. Coordinate with project teams and clients to ensure timely delivery of results. Train and guide lab technicians on test procedures and safety protocols. Monitor calibration and maintenance schedules of lab equipment. Maintain quality control as per ISO/IEC 17025 or NABL guidelines (if applicable). Handle procurement of materials and inventory control.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
