L2 Network Engineer
Job Description
Position: Network Engineer (L2) Experience: 4+ yrs. on Cisco Products Education: Any Degree or Diploma Certification: CCNP Job description: Minimum of 4 years' experience in networking industry Knowledge in configuring Cisco switches, Routers and Wireless Troubleshooting network link, device hardware and configuration issues Schedule and perform network maintenance, repair, and software upgrade tasks Resolving technical issues with networks, hardware, and software. Upgrading/replacing hardware and software systems when required. Experience in Layer 2 protocols (Spanning tree, EtherChannel, VLAN, etc.), Experience in Layer 3 routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc.) Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst Switches (6800, 9600, 9400, 9300) and Enterprise Routers (ISR, ASR) Hands-on experience in working with tools like Cisco prime, Wireshark etc. Experience in implementing management and monitoring infrastructure elements
