A well established IT company in Dubai is looking to hire a L2 Network Engineer. Ideal candidate must be:
- CISCO certified
- Able to work and experienced working in a 24 X 7 Environment in rotational basis (NOC)
- Able to Engage in handling calls and Email from multiple customers.
- Ability to handle escalations and support the L1 Team in fixing the issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good Hands on in configuration, troubleshooting and migration of Switches, Routers and Firewalls.
- Knowledge and experience in firewalls - FortiGate, Sophos, Palo alto, Checkpoint, ASA, FTD
- Should have ability in understanding the wireless network design and troubleshooting the issues and good knowledge on wireless authentication protocols.
- Work Experience on ACS or ISE is an added advantage.
- Following up with vendors for hardware & software to resolve issues by minimizing downtimes.
- Carry out iOS and firmware upgrades
- Excellent knowledge on routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, etc.
- Similar UAE: 3 years (Required)
- CCIE Certificate (Required)
