Job Summary: As a Kitchen Steward you are responsible for providing a clean and efficient service as well as maintain the required hygiene standards as per the Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s standards and proceduires. General Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean food processing facilities, storage rooms, walk in fridge\xe2\x80\x99s, kitchen utensils, immediate corridors and holding areas as well as the operation equipment
Work in close cooperation with all Kitchen and service Employees
Work as per duty schedule and shifts
Perform all stewarding tasks as per given instructions
Ensure minimum wastage, breakage and spoilage
Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests\xe2\x80\x99 and employees\xe2\x80\x99 health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
Additional to the above mentioned requirements an Employee will at times be expected to perform tasks and duties outside of his/her scope of work as necessitated by work demand.
