The Kitchen Porter is responsible for the heavy cleaning, organization of food and non - food items and garbage, trash and waste control to contribute to the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.
Job Accountabilities:
Ensure that the restaurant kitchen produces a high quality of clean utensils and materials
Monitor all food storage facilities to ensure that proper storage techniques are being used and that the cleanliness standards of the restaurant are being maintained.
Ensure the storage is acceptable of all cleaning materials and cleaning utensils
Complete all work responsibilities and assignments in a timely manner.
Maintain your self-appearance in accordance with the restaurant's grooming standards.
Maintain a harmonious relationship with other members of the service team.
Maintain an acceptable degree of knowledge regarding all kitchen machinery.
Prepare all food products were directed by one of the chefs or apprentices.
Maintain effective par stock levels for all cleaning products.
Comply with all the established restaurant operational policies & procedures.
Maintain a clean & safe working environment.
Ensure the protection and maintenance of all operating equipment within the kitchen
Perform any cleaning duties as outline in the cleaning roster or by the manager or executive chef.
Attend all scheduled meetings.
Perform any other duties as directed by the Head Chef/ Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to QAR1,200.00 per month
