Job Overview

We are looking for a

reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Helper

to join our team in

Al Quoz

.
This position is essential to the smooth running of the kitchen -- supporting chefs with prep work, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and hygienically.

The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping things organised, works well under pressure, and has a strong work ethic. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional cloud kitchen environment, with opportunities to learn and grow into higher kitchen roles.

Key ResponsibilitiesKitchen Support

Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting, portioning). Ensure prep stations are stocked and ready before each service. Support the kitchen team during busy periods to maintain smooth operations.

Cleaning & Hygiene

Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, worktops, storage, and equipment. Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans promptly and efficiently. Ensure compliance with all

UAE food safety and hygiene regulations

. Follow strict cleaning schedules and waste disposal procedures.

Inventory & Supplies

Assist with receiving deliveries and storing items correctly. Help check and rotate stock following FIFO (First In, First Out) standards. Report any damaged, expired, or missing items to the Kitchen Supervisor.

Teamwork & Communication

Work collaboratively with chefs, supervisors, and fellow porters. Follow instructions accurately and communicate effectively with the team. Maintain a positive, respectful attitude at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous experience in a

QSR, restaurant, or cloud kitchen

preferred but not essential. Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and hygiene. Ability to handle fast-paced work environments. Good understanding of basic English. Willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen team. Flexibility to work

evenings, weekends, and public holidays
