Job Overview:

Oliv Eatery and Bakery is seeking a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee all kitchen operations, ensure food quality, and lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain a high standard of kitchen efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily kitchen operations, including staffing, scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow. Maintain a high standard of food quality, presentation, and consistency. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, providing training and feedback. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including cleanliness and hygiene standards. Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage food costs effectively. Collaborate with the head chef to develop and update menu offerings based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients. Implement and monitor cost-control strategies to optimize the kitchen's profitability. Handle kitchen equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role within the restaurant or catering industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety standards. Ability to manage inventory, budgeting, and cost controls. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a high-pressure environment. Effective communication and organizational skills. Culinary certification or degree is a plus, but not required if experience is strong. Catering Experience Italian Cuisine Experience
