Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Hood Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of kitchen ventilation systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and repair kitchen hood ventilation systems, including exhaust fans and ductwork. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of existing systems to ensure optimal performance. Clean kitchen hoods and ducts to remove grease buildup and prevent fire hazards. Ensure all work complies with local health and safety codes. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with ventilation systems, providing effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in kitchen ventilation technology.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC or a related field is a plus. Proven experience as a Kitchen Hood Technician or in a similar role. Strong understanding of ventilation systems, HVAC principles, and safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments.
