ENY-MO22EU0263 / 2 Project description The Overall Objective of the action is to contribute to stronger political and technical relations between the European Union (EU) and the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates), at regional and bilateral levels. The Specific Objective of this action is to deepen engagement in the area of climate change and promote the uptake of green transition policies and technologies by the GCC countries. Special focus will be given to exchange of best practices in the sectors of de-carbonisation, green transition and climate change adaptation. The Action will underpin a substantive dialogue on the above topics; will develop customized policy and practice options to support green transition in the GCC Countries and will facilitate an enhanced cooperation on climate change including in the areas of research and business. Job description Key expert 2 will be responsible for implementing the activities related to communication and events managements and the deployment of an active Climate Diplomacy Strategy. Qualifications

• Master\'s degree or equivalent diploma in Communication or similar fields or in its absence, a Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent diploma in the fields detailed above followed by at least 3 years of post-graduate professional experience on top of the general professional experience required below and
• Excellent analytical and computer literacy skills and
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, level C2 and
• Functional level Modern Standard Arabic, level B2

General professional experience

• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate professional experience in the field of communication, media relations and/ or public relations in an international context.

Specific professional experience

• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in the development and implementation of communication strategies and
• Minimum of 3 year of post-graduate professional experience in social media, web design, editing, publication, dissemination and/ or the design of webpages (content) and
• Minimum of 3 year of post-graduate professional experience in event organisation and management of international events and
• At least 1 professional experience in communications aspects of an EU Climate Diplomacy project or a project of communicating aspects of green transition or climate change mitigation or de-carbonisation or energy efficiency.
