We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Guard to protect our facility and its occupants. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, patrolling assigned areas, responding to incidents, and ensuring the safety and security of personnel and property.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle, checking for security breaches, safety hazards, and unauthorized individuals. Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, responding to alerts and incidents promptly. Control access to the facility, verifying identification and issuing visitor passes. Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of activities. Enforce company security policies and procedures. Respond to emergencies, such as fires, medical emergencies, or security breaches. Conduct regular security checks of doors, windows, and other access points. May be required to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior security experience preferred, but not required. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods of time. Must be able to pass a background check.
