Job Main Purpose



The

Key Account Sales Executive

is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key clients, including retailers, hypermarkets, hotels, and other business accounts. This role is critical in promoting and increasing the sales of our high-quality mattress products. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and a passion for the sleep and wellness industry.

Duties and Tasks



Outlet Visits



Schedule outlet visits based on the hypermarket's order cycle.

Check product availability, stock levels, and the condition of product displays.

Ensure that all delivered items are properly displayed, especially on prime, eye-level shelves.

Build strong relationships with outlet operations and commercial teams (e.g., Section Supervisors, Section Managers).

Order Follow-up



Monitor order schedules and warehouse stock.

Ensure timely ordering and delivery before products go out of stock.

Payment Collection



Understand the payment terms agreed with each hypermarket.

Coordinate with the Accounts team for payment due dates and collection.

Manage payment discrepancies by liaising with both parties for reconciliation and ensure accurate credit to the company account.

Problem Solving



Resolve in-store issues such as damaged goods, customer complaints, delivery delays, or promotional stock issues.

Leverage strong relationships with outlet teams to resolve problems effectively.

Tracking Home Deliveries



Maintain a log of home delivery items.

Confirm stock availability and coordinate between the warehouse, customer, delivery team, and the outlet.

Ensure timely and satisfactory delivery to the customer.

Warehouse Coordination



Confirm the availability of goods based on LPOs.

Track goods return, pending invoices, and delivery notes related to your assigned outlets.

Coordinate with the storekeeper to ensure timely documentation.

Delivery Team Coordination



Align delivery schedules based on outlet requests and stock urgency.

Ensure that delivered products are promptly and properly displayed at the designated locations.

Market Research & Reporting



Monitor competitor products, pricing, and promotions.

Stay informed about new product categories and trends in the market.

Provide market intelligence reports and suggest promotional activities to management.

Work Environment



This is a field-intensive role involving regular travel between client locations and showrooms. The Key Account Sales Executive will operate on a showroom-based shifting schedule. Duties include frequent physical activity such as walking, standing, inspecting displays, and light lifting. While some administrative and reporting tasks may be completed in an office setting, the role is primarily hands-on in retail and warehouse environments.

Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

Proven experience in sales, preferably in key account management.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Language Skills


Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.

Arabic language is preferred.

Computer skills


Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite
