To conduct and manage within UAE , sales for the allocated key customer base. To meet & exceed sales budget set out by continuously expanding market share through direct sales and to improve margin contribution.
Responsibilities
- Manage & conduct the sales as per the company's business plan with allocated customer base in line with the set targets, objectives and authority limits
- Expand customer base, identify how to enter new markets, examine profitability, of each customer and improve the return on this investment.
- Produce monthly report on past performance against budget and future plans for product development; report back on competition, key market information's and any complaints from customers.
- Build relationships with customers and potential business associates to promote Al Gurg Fosroc and its products.
- Prepare and contribute to the company's sales plan by reviewing performance and examining potential growth.
- Examine case histories weekly through briefings with departmental staff members & line manager, discuss projects and support required and ensure that each case history is properly documented.
- Deliver performance against budget in terms of revenue generation and contribution, taking the necessary action when there is a deviance from the budget.
- Manage all pricing for sales in the area of the responsibility within the company's authority limits.
- Co-ordinate between the Production and Customer Services Teams to ensure that the customers' needs are understood and satisfied.
- Forecast demand in terms of product, volume and Quantities on a monthly basis & report them to line manager.
- Full implementation to the Market intelligence system for the region.
- Co-ordinate between the Sales and account departments to ensure that debtors day are well within the company's limits.
- Utilization of time management to insure sufficient market coverage
- To add Case Histories and Project References to the company's database on a monthly basis.
- To develop new customers based mainly waterproofing applicators
Skills required
The jobholder should have a degree, preferably in a technical discipline with a civil engineering background. He/she should be fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate across all levels and with different nationalities.
The jobholder should have a minimum of five years' experience in the construction industry with exposure to consultancy and project management roles and at least two years' experience in sales.
The ability to achieve & exceed targets and the control of budgets are essential for this role. Negotiation skills and the ability to develop constructive business relationships are also necessary for success.
