Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Engineer located in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing sales activities. Create leads and follow-up with clients to achieve the target set by the management.
Lead Generation & Opportunity Development:
Identify and qualify new leads within target industries (oil & gas, energy, petrochemicals, Data centers, etc..).
Research clients' operations, equipment, and maintenance requirements.
Collaborate with the marketing team on targeted campaigns, events, and case studies.
Use CRM and ERP tools to record leads and track progress.
Technical Engagement:
Meet customers to understand technical and commercial requirements.
Collect project details (material specs, drawings, photos) and coordinate internally for costing and feasibility.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals, ensuring clear alignment with client needs.
Conduct product demos and presentations to clients.
Share quotations and follow up regularly to drive closure.
Coordinate with design, production, and finance teams for pricing, delivery, and
documentation.
Handle order processing, delivery schedules, and payment follow-ups smoothly.
Provide after-sales support, collect customer feedback, and ensure repeat engagement.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on leads, conversions, and customer engagement metrics.
Scope of Authority:
Collaborate with Estimation, Engineering, and Operations for pricing and execution.
Work with the Commercial Director on quarterly sales targets and customer engagement plans.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
2 years of technical sales experience in the oil & gas or energy or similar domains.
Proven success in solution selling and lead conversion.
Strong technical understanding of electrical components and industrial supply chains.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, with ability to work independently across multiple client accounts.
