Your Role
Introduction and
Atlas Copco Oil-free Air division is seeking an experienced key account manager to create and handle new & replacement opportunities related to complex projects within the general industry segments such as aluminium smelters, steel plants, air separation , power, water desalination, glass, ship yards with end users or through EPC contractors.
The selected candidate will report to the Regional Business Line Manager -Oil-free Air, Atlas Copco Services Middle East.
The Mission of the successful candidate will be to:
Develop and maintain a close relationship with all the power plants, aluminum smelters, air separation, ship yards, glass end customers and related engineering houses/consultants
Lead Replacement Business activities in OFA general industry business .
Track and handle all the FEED compressed air projects within the segments
Prepare technical & commercial proposals and negotiate with end user and coordinate with product companies and local vendors
Focus on upselling and creating value through total turn key solutions for green field and brown field projects across the OFA portfolio of products
Create replacement business opportunities working closely with CTS airscan team
Create and track business opportunities with Air separation plants OEM\'s
Special focus on promoting centrifugal and large oil free screw compressors with air treatment central controller solutions targeting competitor installed base
Collaborate and work closely with OFA projects team for smooth execution and hand over
Work closely with the distributors sales team to promote turn key replacement projects and central controller plants.
Promote Airplan solutions for large compressed air installations in coordination with CTS sales team
Work closely with the regional consultants and engineering houses to ensure OFA solutions are specified in tenders and bids
Consistent C4C reporting & implementation of all sales and marketing processes to ensure accurate market information and customer database
To succeed, you will need
Experience requirements
Previous experience in sales and marketing of compressed air equipment
Excellent business analysis, planning and organizing skills
Experience in complex turn projects sales & Execution
Experience with OFA products specially centrifugal technology is a must
Knowledge of the middle east market is an advantage
Preferably 3-5 years\' experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Competences
Good command (verbal and written) of English.
Working knowledge of Arabic language preferred.
Good presentation skills.
Familiarity and experience to deal and negotiate contracts & high value orders.
Educational requirements
University Degree in Engineering
