ROLE SUMMARY The Key Account Manager is responsible for supporting internal stakeholders with forecasting or expected orders from key accounts. Provides analysis and understanding of business potential and situation vs competitors. Identifies risks & opportunities and works with cross-functional teams to put plans to maximize AZ business accordingly, including generic threats. Participates with the cross-functional team to drive early and accelerated access of AZ brands into formularies. Generates monthly analysis reports of stocks, demand sales vs budget, performance opportunities & challenges & recommended actions. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do
  • Stakeholder identification, mapping & management for major accounts and institutions.
  • Developing strong contact/relationships with key stakeholders & influencers in the Key Accounts.
  • Collecting information on trends, priorities, and needs of the accounts and institutions.
  • Working with the commercial teams to identify & execute key activities to drive the sales performance of brands.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure enlisting of our Strategic Brands on formularies.
  • Providing analysis and understanding of business potential and situation vs competitors.
  • Following up on the tender contract and all the related processes.
  • Supporting internal stakeholders with forecasting or expected orders from key accounts.
  • Following up on the stocks & order levels to all AZ Brands on a regular basis with purchasing & relevant departments to ensure the sustained supply of AZ Products to Patients.
  • Generating monthly analysis reports of stocks, demand sales vs budget, performance opportunities & challenges & recommended actions.
  • Maintaining and developing supply chain excellence: ensuring uninterrupted stock availability of all AZ brands in medical stores/hospital pharmacies.
  • Monitoring the supply vs actual demand, assisting hospitals in the proper forecast and ordering timelines.
  • Understanding issues/ trends/ needs arising from Government/ key accounts/ and other policymakers/influencers and the impact on AZ.
  • Supporting cross-functional teams to execute market access plans for AZ portfolio and participating with the cross-functional team to drive early and accelerated access of AZ brands into formularies.
  • Building professional relationships with payers and SH that can develop into collaborative partnerships.
Only applications based in UAE will be considered. Essential for the role
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a Medical or Science related field
  • Minimum of three years of experience in Pharmaceutical Sales
  • Well-developed communication skills. Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Proven experience in KOL Management and Development
  • Forecasting skills & experience
  • Proven experience in managing purchasers/ important stakeholders
  • Prior involvement in projects & major activities
  • Proven experience in managing Key Accounts successfully
  • Microsoft Office Skills, Word, PowerPoint and high level of MS Excel proficiency
  • Strategic thinking and influencing \xe2\x80\x93 able to identify strategic issues and use skills to effectively influence across a wide range of levels and functions internally and externally
  • Ability to set and focus on priorities & drive performance, Persistent despite obstacles and opposition
  • High ability to work in a team collaboratively & cross-functionally
  • Demonstrable influence and negotiation skills, especially with difficult and/or key stakeholders
  • Relationship management, strong rapport building, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Experienced in delivering presentations to key internal and/or external stakeholders
