Reports To: Head of Sales and Portfolio - Merchant Acquiring
Role Summary
The Sales Executive will support merchant acquisition efforts across the UAE by executing frontline sales activities, onboarding merchants for card acceptance solutions (POS, ePOS, QR, PG), and ensuring high-quality engagement. The role focuses on new business generation and directly contributes to the company's revenue growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
Merchant Acquisition & Onboarding
Identify, approach, and onboard new retail and SME merchants for card acceptance solutions.
Explain payment product features (POS terminals, QR codes, online PG) and value propositions clearly.
Collect KYC and ensure proper documentation for merchant activation.
Sales Target Achievement
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly acquisition and activation targets.
Maintain and update sales funnel and pipeline using CRM tools.
Market Mapping & Lead Generation
Conduct field visits, cold calls, and digital outreach within assigned territories.
Merchant Support & Retention
Educate merchants on settlement timelines, usage, and reporting tools.
Handle basic merchant queries and escalate technical issues when needed.
Collaboration & Reporting
Share daily/weekly reports on leads, visits, and conversions.
Support the BDM with market feedback, competitive activity, and campaign execution.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
1-10 years of field sales experience in the UAE; fintech/payments/Merchant Acquiring - POS/Merchant Acquiring - Payment Gateway.
Familiarity with card acceptance systems and merchant services is mandatory.
Strong communication and negotiation skills in English (Malayalam/Arabic is a plus)
Valid UAE driving license mandatory

Compensation
Fixed salary + monthly incentives (based on performance)
