Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior Sous Chef to support the culinary leadership team in delivering authentic, high-quality Italian fine dining cuisine. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence aligned with luxury dining standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Prepare and execute Italian dishes in line with established recipes and fine dining standards
Supervise kitchen team members during service, ensuring consistency and quality
Ensure proper food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation standards
Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness
Support inventory control, stock rotation, and mise en place planning
Assist with training and mentoring junior kitchen team members
Qualifications & Experience
Culinary qualification or relevant professional training
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Italian cuisine, preferably in fine dining or 5-star establishments
Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and plating standards
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
