Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Junior Safety Officer

to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site and promote a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.

NEBOSH Certificate is mandatory

for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing and monitoring health and safety procedures on site Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments Report hazards, unsafe practices, and incidents to the Safety Officer/Supervisor Help in preparing safety reports and maintaining safety documentation Assist in reporting, filing, and maintaining all safety documentation and correspondence in an organized manner Support in delivering toolbox talks and basic safety training to workers Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Monitor compliance with local safety regulations and company policies Maintain clear records of safety-related incidents and activities

Requirements:

NEBOSH

International General Certificate (IGC) - Mandatory Diploma or certification in Occupational Health & Safety or related field At least 2 years of experience in a safety-related role Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices Good communication and observation skills Ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment Physically fit and able to work in outdoor/site conditions
