Key Responsibilities
Perform daily QA reviews on the shop floor for
Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI)
, in-process checks, and raw material (RM) inspections.
Conduct
root cause analysis (RCA)
for all identified defects and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Coordinate with
subcontractors
to resolve quality issues and maintain consistency in outsourced work.
Work closely with the
store team
to ensure proper RM quality and availability.
Collaborate with internal teams (production, design, and procurement) to improve overall process quality.
Conduct
training and refresher sessions
for inspectors on quality standards and best practices.
Ensure compliance with
ISO standards
, company policies, and client requirements.
Apply knowledge of
CNC machining processes
and QC methods to support production efficiency and reduce defects.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
1-5 years of experience in
manufacturing/production quality control
(furniture or similar industry preferred).
Strong knowledge of
quality control processes, ISO standards, and CNC machine operations
.
Good understanding of QA/QC tools (RCA, CAPA, checklists, audits).
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
