Planning Engineer (Joinery & Furniture Manufacturing)

About the Role:
Royse Furniture is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer with a specialized background in joinery and furniture manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, scheduling, and coordination of projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery within our Ras Al Khaimah facility.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and plans for joinery and furniture manufacturing projects.
• Coordinate with production, design, procurement, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, resource plans, and timelines to management.
• Optimize manufacturing processes and resource allocation to meet project deadlines and budget constraints.
• Ensure all planning activities align with quality standards and client specifications.

Job Requirements (Mandatory):

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, with mandatory proven experience in joinery or furniture manufacturing.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Mechanical Engineering. Diploma holders with exceptional experience will also be considered.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, and project coordination principles.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• In-depth understanding of joinery materials, workshop processes, and installation sequences.
