Junior Procurement Engineer - (Spare Parts) to join our company in Sharjah, UAE.
Responsibilities:
Manage procurement of
spare parts for heavy equipment and machinery
, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Execute
end-to-end procurement processes
, including RFQs, purchase orders and contract negotiations.
Maintain and optimize
inventory levels
to support production planning and minimize downtime.
Utilize
ERP
for procurement tracking, vendor management and generating
MIS reports
for decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (logistics, sales, service) to align procurement with operational needs.
Analyze procurement data in
Excel
(pivot tables, VLOOKUP) to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Build and maintain strong
vendor relationships
, ensuring quality and compliance with company standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in
Engineering.
1-2 years of experience
in procurement, preferably for
heavy equipment/machinery spare parts
.
Hands-on experience with
ERP module
and
Excel skills
(formulas, dashboards).
Knowledge of
inventory management, logistics and production planning
.
Strong
negotiation, communication and vendor management
skills.
Final salary will be decided after the interview and Accommodation & Transportation will be provided by the company.
