Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of mechanical building services systems under the supervision of senior engineers. Prepare mechanical drawings, layouts, calculations, and basic specifications using CAD software. Support the design of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Drainage systems. Participate in design coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, and ELV teams to ensure integrated project delivery. Assist in design reviews and address comments from senior engineers and authorities. Ensure assigned mechanical design work complies with applicable codes, standards, and local authority regulations. Prepare technical documentation, schedules, and reports as required. Support project teams to meet design deadlines and project objectives. Stay updated with mechanical engineering standards, codes, and industry best practices.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of GCC experience (mandatory) in mechanical design engineering. Experience in building services mechanical design for high-rise, commercial, hotel, hospitality, or shopping center projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is an advantage). Working knowledge of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Drainage systems. Familiarity with international and local mechanical codes and standards. Good coordination, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work under supervision and meet assigned deadlines. MMUP Grade A preferred but not mandatory. Qatar residency with NOC is preferred.
