Posh Abaya is a leading manufacturer and retailer of women\'s modest clothing. Job Brief: We are seeking a talented and creative Jr.-Mid level Abaya Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, cutting, stitching, and pattern-making for our Abaya brand. You will work closely with the senior designers and production team to create high-quality Abayas that meet the needs of our customers. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new Abaya styles and collections that align with the brand\'s vision and aesthetic.
- Create and modify patterns to ensure proper fit, comfort, and functionality of the Abayas.
- Cut and stitch fabrics according to the design specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of finished products.
- Conduct research and keep up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and industry developments.
- Attend design meetings and participate in product development discussions.
- 2-4 years of experience in Abaya design, cutting, stitching, and pattern-making.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Creative and innovative thinking.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
