Primary objective/General overview:
The credit controller position is responsible for the prompt collections of all outstanding balances due to the company and plays a vital role in the cash-flow of the organization ensuring credit given to customers is monitored and controlled effectively.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
The Ideal candidate should have 2 to 3 years of similar experience.
Should have a Bachelor\'s degree in Finance
Should be open to learn and have a good communication skills.

Primary objective/General overview:
The credit controller position is responsible for the prompt collections of all outstanding balances due to the company and plays a vital role in the cash-flow of the organization ensuring credit given to customers is monitored and controlled effectively.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Ensuring that the company credit policy is adhered to including monitoring the application of appropriate credit limits and the risk profile of customers.
- Send SOA to the customer\'s monthly.
- Follow up with all the customers on a daily/weekly/Monthly basis.
- Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers, if necessary
- Visit the customers and maintain a strong relationship.
- Collaborate with sales team to provide support regarding customer creditworthiness and outstanding balances.
- Reporting on all the requests related to credit control.
- Investigate and resolve credit risks and problem accounts, reviewing and managing issues and significant transactions.
- Build effective business relationships with internal and external customers to maximize cash.
- Produce accurate and timely management accounts, identifying and correcting mis posts, variance analysis and insightful commentary.
- Monitor and manage risk associated with accounts receivable, identifying potential issues and taking necessary actions.
- Coordinate with Cash Banking team for Payment allocation and posting |Bank agent for depositing cheques and incoming payment from customers.
- Performing AR ledger and sub-ledger reconciliation
- Credit Limit Annual Review / set and maintain credit limit as per the policy.
- Credit Hold Management - Blocked orders | Blocking and unblocking customer accounts.
- Posting of customer receipts, credit notes in the accounting system
The Ideal candidate should have 2 to 3 years of similar experience.
Should have a Bachelor\'s degree in Finance
Should be open to learn and have a good communication skills.
