The Vacancy
De La Rue, Dubai is currently recruiting an Junior Business Analyst with an experience of 3 to 5 years in supporting the effective delivery of successful software development and systems integration projects. In this role, you will be working within Software Development functional, multi-disciplinary agile product teams in order to provide high quality business and technical/systems analysis services. Your typical day will include:
- Gathering business and technical requirements for complex software and systems integration solutions by demonstrating excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, hosting workshops and applying a range of other requirements elicitation techniques where necessary Writing unambiguous Epics and User Stories with a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of the critical role that these artifacts play in an Agile software delivery environment Defining clear and detailed process models, wireframes, mock-ups and other relevant analysis materials to effectively support solution definitions
- Producing, maintaining and taking ownership of exemplary customer facing analysis deliverables required to underpin high profile software projects
- Building and maintaining strong and effective working relationships with stakeholders of all levels Working seamlessly with Product Owners in order to define, manage and prioritise healthy product backlogs
- Acting as Proxy Product Owner where necessary, to support Agile delivery teams and enable them to deliver high quality software effectively
- Fulfilling a critical role in the Agile ceremonies that are in place to support the De La Rue Agile software development methodology.
- Facilitate and contribute to sessions with Product and Technology to discuss technical and feature dependencies for the Delivery Lead to create an achievable delivery plan
- Work closely with Architecture & Design function define technical software solutions that meet business requirements and align with architectural runways.
