The Junior Associate Buyer supports the buying team in executing strategies to curate and manage product ranges that align with brand vision and market trends. This role involves assisting senior buyers with range planning, vendor management, trend analysis, and inventory monitoring to drive sales and profitability. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in fashion or luxury retail buying, a keen eye for trends, and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities: * Range Planning:
- Assist in developing seasonal product assortments based on market trends, customer preferences, and sales data.
- Support senior buyers in selecting products that align with brand aesthetic and financial goals.
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure cohesive product offerings across categories.
- Vendor Management:
- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers under the guidance of senior buyers.
- Assist in negotiating pricing, delivery schedules, and terms with vendors to meet budget and timeline requirements.
- Track vendor performance and ensure timely communication to resolve issues.
- Trend Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging fashion and luxury trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor strategies.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to inform future buying decisions.
- Prepare trend reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal inventory turnover and minimize overstock or stockouts.
- Assist in analyzing sales performance to adjust purchasing strategies as needed.
- Support markdown strategies and promotional planning to clear excess inventory.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, vendor contracts, and product specifications.
- Coordinate samples for review and assist in product selection meetings.
- Prepare reports and data summaries for senior buyers and management.
