We're Hiring: Junior Architectural Draftsman

Location: Dubai

Contract, potentially Full Time

We are seeking a motivated Junior Architectural Draftsman with at least 1 year of relevant experience, to assist in producing detailed architectural drawings and 3D models for a variety of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp, with working knowledge of Revit considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and modify detailed architectural drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details using

AutoCAD

. Develop accurate and clean 3D models using

SketchUp

, supporting both design development and client presentations. Assist senior architects in the preparation of submission packages for local authorities and approvals. Coordinate drawing sets with structural, MEP, and interior teams. Ensure all drawings and models comply with local UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, and company standards. Update drawings based on site changes, markups, or revised design inputs. Maintain drawing documentation, revisions, and file management in an organized and efficient manner. Participate in site visits for measurement, verification, and documentation when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or related field. Minimum of

1 year professional experience

in architectural drafting, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.

Proficiency in AutoCAD

is mandatory.

Strong experience in SketchUp

for 3D modeling is required. Familiarity with

Revit

(preferred) for BIM coordination and modeling. Solid understanding of architectural design standards, detailing, and documentation. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately. Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines. Good communication and teamwork skills.
