Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Application Engineer (HVAC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering with hands-on experience in the HVAC industry. The role involves preparing quotations and submittals, supporting sales and technical teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quotations, submittals, and technical specifications; recommend suitable materials in compliance with project requirements. Prepare and review technical submissions and compliance statements for insulation, valves, pumps, and related equipment for consultant and contractor approvals. Provide technical support to the sales team in reviewing enquiries, RFQs, and tenders. Generate and maintain detailed reports on quotations, submittals, and project status using Microsoft Excel. Coordinate meetings with suppliers, customers, and internal team. Follow up with sales engineers and manufacturers regarding sample requirements and timely delivery. Maintain proper filing and documentation of all submittals, quotations, and project-related reports. Monitor the validity of material certifications and coordinate renewals prior to expiration. Regularly update material stock records and initiate requests to maintain minimum stock levels.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferably with an HVAC specialization). 1-2 years of experience in the UAE HVAC industry. Strong understanding of HVAC systems; knowledge of pumps and valves is an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general documentation/reporting tools. Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with sales, procurement, and technical teams.
