Application Engineer - HVAC Design and Estimation
Al-Futtaim Group is looking for an experienced Application Engineer to support its Air Conditioning Division with project estimation, product selection, technical submissions, and quotation development. This role is essential in supporting the sales team with engineering expertise and competitive project bids to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and timely quotations for HVAC projects including ducted splits, VRF systems, chillers, AHUs, and FCUs
• Perform accurate equipment selection and ensure compliance with project specifications and tender documents
• Coordinate with global principals and suppliers on pricing and technical clarifications
• Prepare technical submittals, project costing sheets, and compliance documents
• Collaborate with the sales team to present optimal solutions for customers' requirements
• Research market trends, competitor activities, and future project pipelines
• Foster strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and developers to identify upcoming opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of HVAC application engineering experience with exposure to VRF, DX systems, and packaged air conditioning units
• Background in estimation, costing, and tendering of HVAC equipment and systems

Skills:

• Proficiency in HVAC design and equipment selection
• Familiarity with HAP software and AutoCAD is a plus
• Strong analytical, technical writing, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• UAE driving license is preferred
