Assist in daily data entry of financial transactions related to event projects, PEO, and general accounts.
Maintain accurate records of client invoices, vendor bills, and petty cash transactions.
Support the accounting department with monthly closings, bank reconciliations, and report preparation.
Input and verify supplier invoices, receipts, and expense claims related to event operations.
Help monitor budget tracking for each event, flagging any discrepancies or overspending.
Coordinate with project and operations teams to ensure timely and correct cost entries.
Assist in preparing VAT filings, payroll entries, and compliance documentation as required.
Organize digital and physical financial files for audits and internal reviews.
Support senior accountants with financial reports and general administrative tasks.
Perform other ad hoc tasks and administrative assistance as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in accounting or data entry; events industry experience is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally) is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
