Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Accountant-Insurance to join our growing team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks related to our insurance operations. This is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity for growth and development within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for our insurance operations Prepare and process insurance premiums, claims, and other financial transactions Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts for insurance operations Monitor and analyze insurance expenses and report on any variances Participate in the annual audit process and provide support for audit requests Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and accounting standards related to insurance operations Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Handle any ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the insurance industry Working knowledge of accounting principles and regulations related to insurance operations Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
