Accountant / Accounts Assistant(Must have Experience in Steel Fabrication Company)
Key Responsibilities:
Process payments related to vendors, subcontractors, imprest accounts, insurance, and administrative expenses.
Conduct monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts.
Prepare and reconcile intercompany Debit Notes/Credit Notes on a monthly basis.
Reconcile Debtors and Creditors ledgers.
Prepare Journal Vouchers and Bank Receipt Vouchers along with supporting documentation.
Perform regular Bank Reconciliation.
Assist in monthly and annual closing of financial accounts.
Accurately account for vendor invoices, imprest expenses, utility bills, etc.
Manage and reconcile petty cash.
Conduct spot checks on inventory.
Handle monthly payroll and disbursement for workers.
Update and verify vouchers in the ERP system.
Prepare workers' leave salary and full & final settlements.
Coordinate with project teams for timely client invoicing.
Assist with weekly production review -- compare budgeted vs. actual labor hour utilization.
Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and certification tasks when required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a specialization in Accounting.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Construction or Manufacturing sectors.
Strong commitment to continuous process improvement.
Proficiency in advanced computer applications (MS Office, accounting software, ERP).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
