We are seeking a Junior QA/QC Civil Engineer with experience in contracting and residential building projects. The candidate will support the quality assurance and quality control activities on-site, ensuring that all works comply with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting site inspections for civil works, including structural, finishing, and concrete activities.
Monitor daily construction activities to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, method statements, and quality standards.
Review and maintain project QA/QC documentation, including inspection requests (IRs), material inspection requests (MIRs), checklists, and test reports.
Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants for inspections and quality-related issues.
Ensure proper implementation of quality procedures and project-specific QA/QC plans.
Assist in verifying materials and workmanship meet project specifications.
Report non-conformities, follow up on corrective and preventive actions, and ensure closure.
Support in preparing weekly and monthly QA/QC reports.
Maintain updated records for all quality-related documentation for handover.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
1-3 years of experience in QA/QC within contracting and/or residential building projects.
Basic understanding of QA/QC procedures, standards, and documentation.
Familiarity with site activities such as concrete works, blockwork, plastering, and finishing.
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
Ability to work under supervision and follow project quality guidelines.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
