The role focuses on troubleshooting, and supporting workstations in manufacturing, managing operating systems and software, and supporting controllers and sensors. Responsibilities include handling hardware issues, configuring handheld devices, barcode scanners, and ensuring Wi-Fi connectivity. Network support involves resolving issues, implementing security measures, and collaborating with software developers. The position extends to managing display screens, coordinating repairs, and supporting printers and servers. Meticulous organization, passive infrastructure management, and efficient ticket resolution are key, along with OS deployments for standardized configurations.

Responsibilities & Essential Duties: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, and workstations used in the manufacturing process. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software on PCs and Laptops. Provide support for physical controllers, sensors, and actuators used in manufacturing systems. Troubleshoot hardware-related issues and coordinate repairs or replacements. Support handheld devices like tablets or mobile computers used by technicians on the manufacturing floor. Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain handheld devices to ensure seamless operations. Manage and troubleshoot barcode scanners and other scanning devices used for tracking and inventory management in manufacturing. Ensure reliable and secure Wi-Fi connectivity for manufacturing devices. Troubleshoot network issues, configure routers and switches, and collaborate with network engineers. Implement and maintain security measures on endpoints to protect manufacturing systems from potential threats. Ensure antivirus software and security patches are up to date. Support and troubleshoot manufacturing floor applications and software used for production, inventory, and quality control. Manage and troubleshoot display screens used for monitoring and controlling manufacturing processes. Coordinate with vendors for repairs or replacements when necessary. Support Zebra printers and other label printers used for printing product labels and barcodes. Troubleshoot printing issues and coordinate maintenance activities. Provide basic support for servers used in manufacturing systems. Monitor server health, troubleshoot server-related issues, and perform routine maintenance. Manage and maintain IDF and data rooms housing networking and server equipment. Ensure meticulous organization and precise cabling in these areas for an efficient and well-organized setup. Support passive infrastructure components like cabling, connectors, and patch panels. Ensure proper installation and maintenance of passive components to optimize network performance. Proficiently manage the lifecycle of support tickets, actively updating, tracking, and efficiently closing them to ensure prompt issue resolution.

Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science from an accredited university Good knowledge of ITSM, ITIL standards and its processes Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and software on PCs and Laptops. Hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining handheld devices used on the manufacturing floor. Familiarity with barcode scanners, scanning devices, and ensuring reliable Wi-Fi connectivity for manufacturing devices. Knowledge of implementing and maintaining security measures on endpoints. Experience troubleshooting network issues, configuring routers and switches. Expertise in organizing and cabling for an efficient setup, ensuring proper installation and maintenance of passive components. Familiarity with supporting Zebra printers, label printers, and coordinating maintenance activities. Active updating, tracking, and efficient closing of support tickets for prompt issue resolution. Experience in handling OS deployments and imaging for standardized configurations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
