JPC - 4618 - Finance Business Partner
Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Type: 12 months (renewable contract)
Experience: 3-7 years
Education: Bachelors Degree
Working Days: 5 days per week

Responsibilities:

Draft and review the financial section of contracts for tailored programs, ensuring alignment with financial controls and risk management practices.
Evaluate pricing strategies and cost optimization techniques to maintain profitability and competitiveness.
Oversee revenue recognition, particularly for multi-deliverable contracts, in compliance with IFRS 15.
Implement appropriate project costing methods to track and optimize expenditure.
Monitor and manage lease agreements in line with IFRS 16 requirements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with ADGM policies and relevant accounting standards.
Financial Controls & Risk Management: Identify, assess, and remediate control gaps, particularly around contract and revenue/cost processes.

Education

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters degree preferred).
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA, CGMA) strongly preferred

Work Experience

Minimum 8 -10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proven track record in contract drafting, analysis, and assessment, ideally in a project-based or services environment.
Strong understanding of IFRS 15 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers) and IFRS 16 (Leases).
Demonstrated expertise in pricing techniques and project costing methods.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budget management, and forecasting.
Advanced skills in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
