Joinery Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Site Supervision and Coordination:

Oversee daily site operations to ensure seamless execution of joinery projects.

Supervise site workers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to guarantee adherence to the project's design, timeline, and safety regulations.

Collaborate with the project manager to ensure alignment of work progress with the broader project plan.

Quality Control and Assurance:

Ensure the quality of joinery work meets design specifications and industry standards.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor work progress, identifying potential issues and addressing them promptly.

Assist in implementing corrective actions to maintain high-quality craftsmanship.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Enforce safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.

Conduct daily safety checks and address any health or safety concerns immediately.

Ensure workers are wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safe working practices.

Project Progress Monitoring:

Track and report on work progress, highlighting delays or issues that could affect the project's timeline.

Coordinate the timely delivery of materials and equipment to ensure availability on-site.

Monitor resource usage to ensure the project's requirements are met without exceeding budget or resources.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed site records, including daily reports on work progress, materials used, and hours worked.

Document any deviations from the project plan or issues encountered on-site.

Ensure proper documentation for quality control, safety audits, and project progress updates.

Team Management and Collaboration:

Lead and motivate the on-site team, including contractors and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and effective task delegation.

Resolve conflicts and address any technical issues promptly to ensure project continuity.

Work closely with the project manager and other stakeholders to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Job Requirements:

Experience

:

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, preferably in joinery and interior fit-out projects.

Educational Background:

A degree or certification in Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.

Knowledge

:

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, joinery techniques, and interior design specifications.

Skills

:

Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).

Familiarity with construction regulations, building codes, and safety standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse range of team members and clients.

Health and Safety:

In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, with experience in implementing safety protocols on-site.

Attention to Detail:

Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues quickly to keep the project on track.

Leadership:

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and supervise the on-site team.

Flexibility

:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
