Joinery Production Planner & Cutting List Maker (Factory-Based Role)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a

highly organized and technically skilled Joinery Production Planner & Cutting List Maker

to manage and streamline the production workflow in our joinery division. The role involves preparing accurate cutting lists from approved shop drawings, planning daily production schedules, coordinating with CNC operators and carpenters, and ensuring materials and timelines are aligned with project demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret

shop drawings and material specifications

to prepare precise

cutting lists and optimization sheets

. Coordinate with

design, procurement, and production teams

to ensure accurate planning and execution. Develop

daily and weekly production schedules

based on project timelines and capacity. Ensure timely release of cutting lists to the production floor, including CNC, panel saw, and edge-banding units. Optimize material usage to

minimize waste

and improve cutting efficiency. Monitor and track material stock levels and liaise with procurement for timely replenishment. Coordinate with the

Factory Supervisor and QC team

to ensure that production output meets design standards and deadlines. Assist in machine loading plans and manpower allocation based on production needs. Maintain detailed records of production activities, timelines, and material consumption. Report bottlenecks, delays, and suggest process improvements where applicable.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree

in Wood Technology, Interior Design, Architecture, or relevant technical field.

3-6 years

of proven experience in a

joinery or woodworking production environment

in the UAE/GCC. Excellent understanding of

woodworking machinery

, joinery materials, hardware, and finishes. Ability to read and interpret

shop drawings, material schedules, and technical documents

. Proficient in

AutoCAD

,

Cutting Optimization Software

(e.g., Cutting Master, OptiCut), and

MS Excel

. Strong coordination, time management, and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in

bespoke/custom-made joinery works

including wardrobes, kitchens, doors, and furniture. Working knowledge of

ERP systems

for material tracking and production updates. Familiarity with

CNC programming basics

is a plus. Strong communication skills -

English and Hindi
