Job Summary:

The Joinery Production Cutting List Maker is responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cutting lists for joinery and furniture production based on approved shop drawings and material specifications. This role ensures optimal material usage, accuracy in dimensions, and proper communication between the design and production teams to support efficient workflow and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cutting List Preparation:

Review approved shop drawings, designs, and material specifications. Create detailed and accurate cutting lists for all components (MDF, plywood, solid wood, veneers, laminates, etc.). Identify material types, thicknesses, grain directions, and edge requirements. Prepare optimized cutting layouts to minimize material waste and improve production efficiency.
2. Coordination with Production and Design Teams:

Work closely with designers, CNC operators, and machine operators to ensure cutting lists align with technical requirements. Provide clear and organized documentation for the production team. Update cutting lists in case of design revisions or material changes.
3. Quality and Accuracy Control:

Double-check all dimensions, quantities, and material specifications before issuing lists for production. Ensure cutting lists meet company standards and client requirements. Track and record any deviations or adjustments made during production.
4. Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain organized records of all cutting lists, revisions, and material usage. Assist in material planning and ordering by providing accurate quantity take-offs. Support production scheduling with timely delivery of cutting list documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or technical training in joinery, woodworking, interior design, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in a joinery or furniture production environment. Strong understanding of joinery materials (MDF, plywood, veneers, laminates, solid wood, etc.). Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drafting software for reading shop drawings. Knowledge of CNC and panel cutting processes is an advantage. Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

Mostly office-based work within the production area. Occasional site or workshop visits for verification and coordination.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
