We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Joinery Detailer / Draftsman

to create precise technical drawings and detailed shop drawings for custom joinery and interior fit-out works. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of joinery construction techniques, materials, and finishes, and be able to translate design intent into production-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate joinery and millwork shop drawings based on architectural and interior design drawings. Produce detailed sections, elevations, and exploded views of joinery elements (cabinets, wardrobes, doors, counters, wall paneling, etc.). Ensure drawings are coordinated with MEP, structural, and site conditions. Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, architects, and factory teams. Modify and update drawings as per client feedback, site measurements, or design changes. Prepare cutting lists, material specifications, and hardware details. Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, production feasibility, and project timelines. Participate in site visits to gather accurate measurements and validate drawings. Maintain organized drawing records and version control.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related technical field. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in

joinery detailing

, preferably in high-end interior fit-out projects. Proficient in AutoCAD (2D essential); knowledge of 3D software (SketchUp, Revit, Inventor) is an advantage. Good understanding of joinery manufacturing processes, materials (MDF, veneer, laminate, hardwood, etc.), and fittings/hardware (Blum, Hafele, Hettich). Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and technical problem-solving. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
