Joinery & Carpentry Foreman Expertise
Summary
We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in joinery and carpentry foreman to join one of our millionaire furniture industry client in Al Ain, UAE. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest quality of craftsmanship in our projects, which include wardrobes, counters, panels, and other fit-out furniture. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wood types, joinery techniques, and finishes, and will be responsible for interpreting architectural and detailed joinery drawings accurately. This position offers a competitive salary of AED 3500, along with accommodation, visa, and medical benefits.
Responsibilities

• Interpret and execute architectural and detailed joinery drawings with precision.

• Develop cutting lists and manage material control, including veneers, laminates, MDF, solid wood, and hardware specifications.

• Operate and maintain tools and machinery, including CNC machines, edge banders, panel saws, and hand tools.

• Lead and motivate a team of carpenters, polishers, and installers to ensure high-quality workmanship.

• Plan and schedule daily and weekly tasks to meet project timelines efficiently.

• Conduct quality inspections to ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations.

• Prepare and submit daily site reports and progress updates to project management.

Requirements
Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience in joinery and carpentry within the furniture industry.

• Proficiency in English and basic carpentry skills.

• Extensive knowledge of joinery techniques, wood types, and finishes.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings accurately.

• Familiarity with operating CNC machines, edge banders, panel saws, and hand tools.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

• Excellent planning and scheduling abilities to ensure timely project completion.

• Experience in quality inspection and progress reporting.
