Requirements / Qualifications:

A Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field is required. 7-10 years of experience in civil inspection specifically in high-rise building projects. Experience within the UAE. In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and local regulations is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills are necessary. Experience with various project types, ability to read technical drawings, and familiarity with relevant inspection tools are also beneficial.
A background experience in an engineering consultancy in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

Previous experience in civil construction works and supervision or inspection of site works.

Record inspections, tests, work executed.

Monitor the review of the contractor's documents/shop drawings to flag and rectify any issues which may affect the stability or function of any components or systems.

Preparing daily logs and reports.

Monitoring and ensuring that all civil/structural engineering aspects of the project are carried out as per inspection plan/drawings/codes and specifications.

Monitor safety aspects when dealing with Civil/structural installations.

Perform and or evaluate tests confirming quality requirements, civil/structural finishes and building components by conducting thorough site inspection for all civil/structural works as per approved shop drawings, specifications and method statement.

Field checks placement, location and quality of civil/structural finishes, building structure components.

Perform civil/structural inspections and material inspections.

Ensure compliance of civil/structural l works to design requirements, specifications and project plan.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering or a related field. Finishing experience is a must. Proven experience as a Finishing Inspector on residential building projects. Strong knowledge of Finishing materials, methods, and quality control processes. Familiarity with DUBAI construction regulations and experience working on projects within the region. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in inspection documentation. A background experience in an engineering consultancy in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

Inspection and Compliance: Conduct on-site inspections to ensure that Finishing activities adhere to project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant codes and standards. Quality Control: Monitor and assess the quality of workmanship, materials, and Finishing methods to ensure compliance with established quality standards. Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate inspection records, including daily reports, photos, and any deviations from project specifications. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve any issues related to construction quality and compliance. Consultancy Experience: Apply your consultancy background to provide valuable insights and recommendations for optimizing construction processes. Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on construction progress, highlighting any deviations or potential risks to project timelines.

Finishes Inspector - Dubai

Position : Mechanical Draftsman

Location:

Dubai, UAE

Industry:

Construction / Engineering / High-Rise Buildings

Experience: 8+ years

Availability: Immediate joiners preferred

Requirements:

Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering. Proficient in AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks, or BIM tools is a plus). Proficient in MS Office and relevant mechanical design tools. Experience in Auto CAD drafting for HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire protection and LPG systems (experience in Electrical is a plus). Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably high-rise building projects in the GCC region. Familiar with international and local authority standards such as ASME, ISO, ANSI, SMACNA, ASHRAE, NFPA, DEWA, DM etc.). Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire protection and LPG systems. Experience with Dubai authority approvals (DEWA, DM, DDA, DCD, etc.) is an advantage. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Drafting of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire protection and LPG systems. Prepare accurate detailed drawings and layouts as per standards and requirements. Ensure full compliance with project specifications, authority regulations, industry standards and codes. Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and other discipline to ensure designs meet technical requirements. Maintain and update drawing records, documentation and backups for future reference.
