Job Title: Principal Architect - Airport Construction Ref : IQ-PA Job Overview: The Principal Architect will lead architectural aspects and planning activities for the airport project , overseeing and controlling contractors work. The role is instrumental in building airport facilities that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing, efficient, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards likewise meeting the needs of both passengers and airport operations.. The candidate has to provide recommendation letters from previous employers and their CV s will be subject to final approval of the Airport Authority in Iraq. Key Responsibilities: 1. Architectural Design: Review and oversee the architectural design of airport terminals, ATC, Hotel, Cargo, and other airport facilities. Ensure that execution aligns with the airport\'s operational requirements, safety standards, and passenger experience goals. 2. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on aviation regulations, building codes, and safety standards related to airport architecture. Ensure that all designs and construction activities adhere to these regulations. 3. Project Leadership: Lead the architects , finishing and fitout works . Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to ensure the successful execution of airport project. 4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with airport authorities, civil engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate architectural designs seamlessly with overall airport infrastructure and operations. 5. Sustainability: Promote sustainable design principles are implemented , such as energy efficiency and environmentally friendly materials.. 6. Budget Management: Assist in budget development and management for architectural components of airport projects. Monitor project expenditures and work to stay within budget constraints. 7. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that architectural components meet design specifications and industry standards. Check and Approve Material Submittals , Method Statements , Samples , Mockups. 8. Risk Management: Identify potential architectural risks and challenges in airport construction projects and develop mitigation strategies. 9. Design Documentation: Review architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and documentation required for construction , facilitate materials selections inline with design intent. 10. Innovation: current with architectural trends, technologies, and best practices.Make sure solutions are integrated into airport designs to enhance functionality and passenger experience. Qualifications: - Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in architecture. - More than 10 years experience in architectural design, preferably with a focus on airport facilities. - Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, building codes, and safety standards. - Proficiency in architectural design software and drafting tools. - Excellent leadership and project management skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. - Creativity and an eye for design aesthetics. - Commitment to safety, sustainability, and excellence in architectural design. -Proficiency in English Language Job Type: Full-time Salary: From AED23,000.00 per month Ability to Commute:
