Position Overview
We are seeking a
Draftsman (Architectural & Finishing)
to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation related to architectural, interior finishing, signage, and metal fabrication works.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate
shop drawings, architectural layouts, and fabrication drawings
for signage and metal works.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
Review and incorporate project specifications, client comments, and site conditions into drawings.
Ensure compliance with
Qatar Construction Standards (QCS)
and company guidelines.
Maintain proper documentation and drawing registers for revision tracking.
Assist in site measurements, as-built drawings, and technical submissions.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/Degree in
Architecture, Civil, or Drafting Technology
.
3-4 years of experience
as a Draftsman, preferably in signage, metal, or finishing works.
Strong knowledge of
AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
; Revit/SketchUp experience is an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret
architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
.
Familiarity with material specifications for finishing and fabrication works.
Good communication skills and ability to work under deadlines.
