About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptionally talented

Japanese Head Chef

to lead our

culinary operations in Kuwait

. The ideal candidate will bring authentic Japanese culinary expertise, creativity, and leadership to deliver a world-class dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the kitchen operations for a premium Japanese restaurant. Develop innovative and authentic Japanese menus, including sushi, sashimi, robata, teppanyaki, and modern fusion dishes. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain the highest culinary and hygiene standards. Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation. Manage food cost, inventory control, and kitchen budget efficiently. Collaborate with management on seasonal menu updates, promotions, and restaurant concepts. Maintain compliance with all food safety and HACCP standards.

Requirements:

Minimum

5-8 years

of experience in Japanese cuisine, with at least

3 years in a Head Chef or Executive Chef role

. Proven experience in

fine dining or 5-star hospitality

settings. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of traditional and contemporary Japanese cooking techniques. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Candidates must be

currently based in UAE or other GCC countries

and

willing to relocate to Kuwait

.
