Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes including pasta, pizza, risotto, sauces, and antipasti
Develop and update menus in line with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes
Manage kitchen operations during assigned shifts
Monitor food stock, place orders, and minimize wastage
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
Coordinate with management on special menus and promotions
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience as an Italian Chef or similar role
Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques and ingredients
Experience with wood-fired or stone oven pizza (preferred)
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
Good communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
Culinary certification or professional training is an advantage
Working Conditions
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Physically fit to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen environment
