Job Title: Italian ChefJob Summary

The Italian Chef is responsible for preparing and presenting authentic Italian cuisine while maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency. The role requires strong knowledge of traditional and modern Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present authentic Italian dishes including pasta, risotto, pizza, sauces, meats, seafood, and desserts Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portioning, and presentation of all dishes Develop and refine Italian menus in coordination with management Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in accordance with health regulations Manage mise en place efficiently to ensure smooth kitchen operations Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and minimizing food waste Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to maintain timely service during busy periods Follow standard recipes while allowing for creativity where appropriate Comply with company policies, kitchen procedures, and safety standards
Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of traditional Italian cuisine and regional specialties Proficiency in Italian cooking techniques and use of kitchen equipment Ability to work under pressure during peak service hours Good time management and organizational skills Team-oriented with a professional attitude Strong attention to detail and consistency Honest, reliable, and punctual
Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience as an Italian Chef or similar role Culinary certification or professional training preferred Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment is an advantage
Working Conditions

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Standing for long periods and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
