Duties & Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the health, performance, and security of Windows and Linux server environments.



Implement and oversee robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.



Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to optimize connectivity.



Administer virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) for server consolidation and resource management.



Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.



Conduct regular system audits and implement patches and updates to mitigate security vulnerabilities.



Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, configurations, and operational procedures.



Monitor system logs and alerts, proactively addressing potential issues before they impact services.



Collaborate with IT leadership on infrastructure planning, capacity upgrades, and technology evaluations.



Manage user accounts, access controls, and group policies in Active Directory or similar directories.

Job Profile

At least 5 years of hands-on experience administering diverse IT systems in a corporate environment.



Proven experience with server operating systems, specifically Windows Server (2016+) and various Linux distributions.



Demonstrated expertise in network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.



Practical experience managing virtualized environments (VMware ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V).



Strong background in implementing and maintaining data backup and recovery solutions.
