First Point Group have partnered with a leading Indian Telco Company, who has a strong reputation in providing s the largest wholly owned and most advanced subsea fibre network.
They are looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join their team in Dubai.
As the IT Systems Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
-Effective Provisioning, Installation/Configuration, IT Operations, and maintenance of systems hardware (Physical/Virtual) and software and related IT Infrastructure on-premises and cloud.
-Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the IT infrastructure.
-Assist Project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of organization's standard Project Management Methodology.
-Support IT Team in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.
-Administer, Manage & Maintain all Software/Hardware that falls in the scope of organization IT Systems Service
-Implementing, monitoring and controlling Systems to comply with organization Information Security policies.
-Backups & Recovery of IT Systems Services
-Carrying out Technical Evaluation & Implementation and Rollouts of IT System Services.
-Documentation of IT Systems Services
-Integrating IT Systems Services with Other Business Systems Services
To be successful as the IT Systems Administrator, your background and experience should include:

• Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent qualification.

• Certification in Microsoft Technologies (AD, Exchange, Virtualization, Servers etc)

• Certification in Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)

• Certification in Networking Technologies.

• Certification in ITIL

• Certification in Virtualization Technologies (Preferably VMWare)

• Certification in SAN Technologies (preferably NetApp)

• Certification in UCS can be an advantage

• Certifications in Project Management can be an advantage.

The individual should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience on above mentioned Technologies and environment.
Education requirement:
Bachelor of Computer Science, Diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent education.
Knowledge & Skills:
Should possess excellent knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange 201x, Web/Email Gateway, Windows Servers, SQL, Networking, VMWare, Hyper-V, NetApp, Antivirus, Patch Management, and Datacenter Technologies.
Competencies:
Good Communication skills, Time management skills, Team player, Self-motivated, Awareness of Information Security, Awareness of ITIL and ISO 27001 standards.
