We are a trusted green technology retrofit partner, facilitating everything from surveys, feasibility studies,3D Laser scanning, engineering, fabrication, installation, electrical integration and assistance with commissioning.

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team in Dubai.

Main responsibilities:

- Provide professional IT support to 3C Metal staff onsite and remote.

- Analyze IT problems, seek, develop and implement solutions as required together with 3rd party IT support service providers.

- Install and maintain remote support software when required

- Continuous communication with office staff.

- Continuously consult on cost effective computer and network solutions to improve IT support services.

- Implement, configure and secure staff IT hardware, software and associated solutions, network (wired / wireless) and printers.

- Install, repair and service computers including associated equipment.

- Provide input on matters associated with site preparation and installation of computer systems.

- Provide input/information relating to company\'s hardware and software purchasing decisions (including obtaining quotes, specifications and motivation).

- Ensure that a high level of IT security is maintained and kept up to date (antivirus programs, VPN tunneling, Microsoft patch updates).

- Monitor staff computer systems in order to optimize performance and to initiate recovery action after system failures as and when they occur.

- Monitor data backups with 3rd party IT service providers to ensure data backup integrity.

What you bring (experience & qualifications)

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s / Ba degree in information technology, computer science, information security or related areas
\xc2\xb7 First experience as a System Administrator, Network administrator or IT Support in similar context.
\xc2\xb7 Windows server from 2003 to 2019

\xc2\xb7 Experience in virtualization VMWare ESXi and Hyper-V

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of system security (Sophos or equivalent) and data backup/recovery (Acronis, Altaro, Veeam)

Profile

The IT Support Technician will provide local and remote IT, VoIP and network support to 3C Metal staff on a day-to-day basis to ensure optimum operational uptime within our computer, network and telephony environments respectively.
